The secluded settlement of Goongerah is nestled between National parks and wilderness areas, making it an ideal base for short or extended walks and touring. Jacarri Eco-cottage is situated on a small organic farm of well known Earth Garden writer and conservationist, Jill Redwood. The Brodribb River runs through tall Manna gums at the side of the property where you can fish, swim or paddle.
The cottage is a low-impact, ecologically-sustainable living space which features solar power, wood stove, water wheel, forest friendly building materials and a dry composting loo. Jacarri cottage sleeps four people and is fully self-contained. Organic fruit, vegetables, milk and eggs are available in season.
